Adult Basic Education (ABE) Literacy Classes In-Person

The Round Rock Public Library and the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church present Adult Basic Education (ABE) literacy classes. These lessons are designed so that adults of all reading levels can participate.  Whether you are just learning the alphabet, or if you can already read a little but want to improve, we can help!  You will learn new vocabulary, practice reading short stories, and writing about what you read.  We also work together to read longer books based on what the students are interested in reading.  In the past, we have read Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Power of Having Fun, based on student suggestions.

Classes meet every Sunday at 1:15PM in the library's Literacy Classroom.
