Welcome to TAG Con 2025, Round Rock Public Library's Tabletop Adventure Gaming mini-convention, summer edition! RRPL is inviting patrons to come play a variety of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs, such as Dungeons & Dragons) in a shared, convention-style, multi-table setting.  Con events on Saturday, June 28th are for teen and adult players, ages 14+. There will be one long afternoon session for each game offered, with a short snack break in the middle.  A mix of all ages will play at each table.

EVENT SCHEDULE

12:30 - 1:30 pm:  Sign-up & registration/Character selection, Q&A session with the game masters to decide on which table you want.

1:30 - 3:00 pm: Sessions begin

3:00 - 3:30 pm:   Short snack break

3:30 - 5:00 pm: Sessions continue, golden ticket prize given at conclusion

The following games will be offered:

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS, 5th EDITION

• Module G1: The Steading of the Hill Giant Chief

  System: Dungeons and Dragons 5e

• 8-9 characters of 8^th level or more with 2 to 3 magic items. I will have a multitude of characters to choose from.
• I will have pre-generated character that are available to pick from
• I will have a list of items that can be divided amongst the party
• I will be using maps and miniatures.  Bring your own miniature for your character if you like.

• Adventure summary:

  Giants have been raiding and pillaging the lands and villages of men in the kingdom where you reside. A meeting called by the grandiose Nobles and Lords of the Kingdom has been called to gather the bravest and most powerful heroes in the kingdom to deal a fatal blow to the kingdom of the giants by invading their fortress tucked away in hills a day's journey away. A brave party of 8 or 9 adventurers is needed to invade and dish out justice to the malicious giant clan Chief Nosnra . The characters will be given generous compensation and the opportunity to select from the finest weapons in the Lords and Nobles' possession. Guides familiar with the region will provide maps and assistance. A fine horse and provisions will be provided plus a fortress to hide away in near the location of the mission. Your mission is to deal a fatal blow to the giants or find a way to return the chief to the noble lords to receive the punishment he rightly deserves.

MARVEL SUPER HEROES (TSR)

• Adventure name: “Round Rock's Newest Tech Giant”
• Description: In a world much like our own, but with super-powers appearing throughout society, a new AI-research lab, Titan Tech, has opened its grand business campus in the northeast corner of Round Rock, right near the college district. Through press releases, this group advertised their plans to build AI-guided devices to help accomplish a wide variety of physical tasks. But only a few weeks after they are up and running, rumors have spread across Round Rock of strange late-night truck convoys coming and going filled with very odd equipment, surprisingly robust security that threatens the most innocent of visitors to the site, and some folks even talk about a powerful agent of another nation, the Titanium Man, seen flying to and from the roof of the main building. Local officials for weeks have made assurances to the public and press that everything is above board and good for the area, but last weekend three teenagers were reported missing, and town gossip says they told friends they were going to sneak into the Titan Tech building and see what's going on, only to have disappeared. Police say there's no evidence the three kids even went to the building and are investigating all leads, but you, teaming up with other local super-powered heroes, have decided to see for yourselves. What is the secret of the new Titan Tech, and are the rumors of nefarious deeds true?! 

AD&D 1e/OSRIC

• Max # of Players: 8
• Adventure name: “The Ants Go Marching Two by Two...Hazah, hazah”
• Adventure description: Deep in the northern Azanthenum foothills, it is said in a land of giants there lives giant army ants who are destroying land, livestock and those unable to flee.  Stout adventurers are called to stop this infestation before reaching nearby villages and towns.  Will you take the challenge?

All game masters reserve the right to dismiss any unruly, rude, or disruptive player of any age. Please see our attached Code of Conduct for more details.

Other Considerations:

• Costumes, (aka Cosplay) are welcome, but please no weapons, fake or otherwise
• The Saturday event will also have limited seating, and tickets will be given out for a full hour before the game sessions begin. Hold on to your ticket, as one lucky prize winner will be announced at 5 pm to receive the Golden D20.
