Travis Audubon Society: Put Out the Welcome Mat for Backyard Birds

Travis Audubon Society: Put Out the Welcome Mat for Backyard Birds In-Person

The Round Rock Public Library and the Travis Audubon Society present Put Out the Welcome Mat for Backyard Birds from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, September 13, in Meeting Room A&B.

What makes a bird decide if your yard is a good place for a drop-in visit or long-term stay? Just like humans, birds need food, water, shelter and places to raise young safely, to thrive. Learn how to attract a diversity of expected backyard species, using native plants, water features, supplemental feeders, and nestboxes. Your yard will come alive with bird song and activity!
