Guitar Day at RRPL!
Join us for multiple free guitar events at the library! RRPL is hosting the Childbloom Guitar Academy on Saturday, August 16th, from 11:30 to 2:00pm.
Featuring:
- A lecture on the history of the guitar, with display instrument examples
- A large guitar ensemble performance in our first floor lobby at 11:30
- Free demonstration guitar lessons for kids 5 and up, from 12 - 2pm in our first floor classrooms
- An instructor duo performance, the Sound Oasis Duo, heard from 12:45 - 1:10
- Student duos and soloists, throughout the event time, on both the 1st and 2nd floors
There will also be a drawing for a free guitar and lessons! Come by and check out all the guitar action at the library!
