In this session, learn how the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and its partner agencies support entrepreneurs through funding programs, counseling and mentoring, government contracting opportunities, disaster assistance, and training tools.
Join the SBA District Director to learn what resources are available for aspiring and existing business owners, how to access them, and how the SBA can support your business at every stage.
About the presenter

David L. Elizondo is the District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s San Antonio District Office. He rejoined the SBA in June 2024 after previously serving as San Antonio Deputy District Director from August 2019 to April 2023. Earlier in his SBA career, he served as Branch Manager for the SBA Corpus Christi Branch Office.
Before joining the SBA, Mr. Elizondo was the Program Director for the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served more than four years as a Security Forces Journeyman with multiple overseas assignments, including two tours in the Middle East.
Mr. Elizondo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
