The Round Rock Public Library and SCORE Austin present Biz.ability: Starting a Business and Asset Protection, Friday, March 6, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A&B.
Running a business has risks associated with it. There are simple steps business owners can take to protect their personal and business assets against those risks. This workshop will look at ways to protect assets through business formation decisions, trade secret protection, and appropriate legal documents. It is always better to make some protective decisions early on than to put out fires later.

Jennifer Ward is Principal Attorney at Law Office of Jennifer D. Ward in Austin, Texas. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, the State of California, the Western District of Texas, the Southern District of Texas, the Eastern District of California, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her practice focuses on employment law and general counsel services for small businesses and non-profits. She is involved in many legal and community organizations.
