Rockin' Kids Club: special guest Starry Sky Austin In-Person
Join us at the Round Rock Public Library for some after-school fun! Head up to the second-floor program room to meet our special guest, author Amy Jackson.
Get inspired to go outside at night, look up at the stars and wonder with Amy while she reads her latest book “Little Sky Bear and the Dragon”, a reinvented star story about four constellations in our night sky. After the story, make your own star finder to take home and start your constellation hunting journey.
- Younger children may require parental assistance.
- Rockin' Kids Club at the library is designed for children aged five and up.
About Amy Jackson:
Amy Jackson inspires others to connect with the night sky through her role as director of Starry Sky Austin. Amy is concerned about the fact that most of us live in light polluted places where we can’t see our Milky Way galaxy and is working to change that. Amy lives in Austin, TX with her husband, her collection of telescopes, three daughters, two dogs, a gecko named Pepper and a pond of fish.
