Art Class—Create a Colorful Dinosaur Scene In-Person
The Round Rock Public Library presents Create a Colorful Dinosaur Scene, an expressive art class taught by Samantha Lesan, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 13, Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Rooms A&B, First Floor.
Samantha will help attendees utilize all 5 senses, as well as coloring, collage and other mediums, to bring these dinosaurs to life!
This class is for teens and adults (ages 13 and up). All ability levels are welcome.
Pre-registration is required for this event. If you do not show up within five minutes after this event has begun, you spot may be given away to hopeful last-minute attendees
About the Presenter
After studying psychology, Samantha supported survivors of trauma within various crisis centers. She witnessed that artmaking was therapeutic to both survivors and to herself. She found that art creates a wonderful visual language to process trauma and express difficult emotions beyond words.
She now offers guided artmaking and writing workshops to support people on their own healing journeys.
